Hardware

A PC with monitor, keyboard,... (usual stuff every pc has ;)).
A full duplex soundcard.
A voice headset (speakers are not allowed, this would disturb the other participants).
An straight UTP cable (Cat5E) of at least 10 meters in length. Crossover cables won't work!
At least 100 MBit network card (supports UTP/ethernet).
Electrical multiplug, to ensure that all your plugs end up in ONE plug.
If you plan to use WideView: a router, you will not be allowed to connect with WideView directly on our network.

Software

A flight simulator compatible with the IVAO network. Preferably one of the following ones: FS2004, FSX or X-Plane.
Scenery for your flight simulator for the area. The freeware scenery we find will be published on our website in advance.
The software used to connect to the IVAO network (IvAc, IvAp, X-IvAp, Teamspeak,...).
Virus protection software, for your own security.

Having an active IVAO VID is recommended but not required. To prevent problems, please register to IVAO or reactivate your IVAO VID before the Lan Party
